IR Group is made up of a group of Portuguese companies, renowned for their history, tradition and boldness. Our portfolio is diverse and our main areas of business are real estate, the hotel business and services. We focus on the client and on the details, creating unique investments that grow in value, over the long term, for all stakeholders.

IR Group was founded with the mission to “Give New Worlds to the World”, the altruistic and intrinsically Portuguese concept of continual resilience. We started out in the construction business, where we carried out several building and renovation jobs for third parties. This experience helped us to acquire the necessary know-how to confidently take on new challenges. And so, in 2013, our business model evolved; we became property developers and began to develop our own projects.

In 2017, we took our first steps in the hotel industry, with the acquisition of the iconic Hotel Villas in Sesimbra. And In 2019, we formed a partnership with Marriott International to develop hotels in Sesimbra and Lagos, introducing a new hotel brand in Portugal, Four Points by Sheraton ****, with the inauguration held in 2020. Currently, we are involved in several high-quality residential and tourist projects in Lisbon, Palmela, Sesimbra, Sines and the Algarve.

In addition to our core business, we have embarked on a diversification of our portfolio, launching new projects such Aquarama, a maritime-tourism endeavour in Sesimbra, where we have a glass-bottom boat that gives tours around Sesimbra bay and the Professor Luiz Saldanha Marine Park, providing clients with a stunning 360° view.
