★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nao sei como serao aproveitados os novos cursos do ISMAT, mas existe visao extraordinaria da Direçao em criar cursos em areas que sao o futuro como é o caso de Tecnologias Criativas, Ciencias dos Dados e claro, eng de Informatica... isso é o futuro, no entanto deixo a sugestao como ex aluno do ISMAT (nao bem sucedido) em criarem um centro e incubadora de empresas junto com a CMP, sera necessario criar um ecossistema de inovação no Algarve e o ISMAT deve ter um papel importante... o Senhor Professor Damasio deve pensar nisso, pois é uma instituição que pode ser muito bem aproveitada, (atenção que a minha experiencia no ISMAT nao foi boa, mas existem interesses nacionais e regionais que devem-se sobrepor a experiencias pessoais)... deveria ser uma mais valia que a CMP poderia utilizar para captaçao de IDE
 I don't know how the new ISMAT courses will be used, but there is an extraordinary vision of the Management to create courses in areas that are the future such as Creative Technologies, Data Sciences and of course, Computer Engineering... this is the future , however I leave the suggestion as a former ISMAT student (not successful) to create a business incubator and center together with CMP, it will be necessary to create an innovation ecosystem in the Algarve and ISMAT should have an important role... o Professor Damasio, you should think about it, as it is an institution that can be used very well, (notice that my experience at ISMAT was not good, but there are national and regional interests that should overlap with personal experiences)... it should be an asset that CMP could use to capture FDI

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a tourist you expect a little litter occasionally on the streets when walking around. But the guide books say ismat is a great teaching place,. Unfortunately in Portimão they don't care if there is rubbish outside the front gate. It's 50m from my door dogs and cats use it as a toilet and locals keep adding to it. There's nothing great about this place, the don't care for the environment or the people that live locally. Students throw cigarettes and shout when they leave anytime uptown 12 am.. Shame on them
