★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to go to Jamie's and probably because I had high expectations, I felt a tiny bit disappointed.
Yes the pizza was good...but not to die for ?.
I found it peculiar to see an "all men only" staff... very nice! but my 'equality-gender' strike got bruised....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update: after coming here regularly for months during the pandemic, they completely changed their attitude now that the crowds are back.
Now greed is more important than courtesy.
Here’s what happened: We were waiting half an hour for a table, and when we finally got seated and were ready to order, the manager asked us (2) to leave the table as they needed it for a party of 4. They reluctantly offered us an incredibly narrow table right next to the restrooms, where it was also really noisy.
We refused. “There is nothing I can do” said the manager and walked away. Shame on you Jamie Oliver for doing such a lousy job hiring your restaurant staff!
What a disaster of customer service.
Original review: Great food, great atmosphere. Generous manager who made up for a mess up in the kitchen with free deserts. Friendly wait staff and overall great experience. Will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall impression:
Does not at all live up to its name or at least the standards of a superior Italian restaurant concerning service and most important quality of food. I won‘t go there again and it cannot be recommended as they seem to be unable to correct their problems (see other reviews).
Details:
We (4 Adults) had planned to make Jamie’s Italian a special treat for our last night in Lisbon. Unfortunately it worked out to be special in different ways:
When we arrived we were told our reservation had not been marked for inside seating, so we had to sit outside although we pointed out, that we were not properly dressed for it and freezing (there had been rain a few hours before). Besides the outside only has a view but no cozy atmosphere, everything is bare and basic there. Obviously cleanup after rain had not happened in the hours before our arrival so we had to struggle not only with the uncomfortable temperature but with wet seat cushions and noisy cleanup. That took its time and after some lame excuses for the hassles of seating outside came the next excuses for not taking our orders timely. We ordered cocktails, starters and main courses. The strawberry martini was very nice and so were the chicken wings. The much praised garlic bread did however not meet our expectations, as it was rather dry and the herb butter coming with it was nothing special, not even a distinct taste of garlic. When our cocktails where finished there was no way to order new beverages before the main courses arrived. The service was too busy with the full restaurant. We had four different main courses:
Tagliatelle carbonara, which were really tasty but not above the quality of any good Italian restaurant
Prawn linguine, which were also tasty as in any good Italian restaurant, only the linguine were not cooked to perfection, as they were a tad too „al dente“
A medium rare rib-eye steak which was unfortunately served „bloody rare“. When we pointed this out, it was taken away without comment and excuse and returned a little later medium done…
I was very much looking forward to the oxtail lasagne as I love the texture and taste of slow cooked meat as opposed to minced meat. Unfortunately the lasagne arrived at the table so cold, that I could hold the stone bowl in my bare palms. It was at best lukewarm which is unforgivable when you expect a sizzling lasagne. When I pointed this out, the lasagne was reheated resulting in a somehow „overbaked“ dish (see pic) which deteriorated the flavor. I had to eat alone as everybody else had finished the main course by then and when the service realized this I did at least not have to pay for it. In the end we still paid around 100 Euros for leaving this place quickly and unhappy after the main course.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good restaurant!
Risotto and ravioli were amazing. When we told waiter that one dish wasn’t the best he suggested that they can do another one for free. Joao was very helpful and recommended us the best food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You might think it looks tasty from the pictures, but it’s not the reality. This so called pasta speciality, famous prawn linguini, is the most plain pasta i have eaten in my entire life. It doesn’t have the taste of sea food or the sauce. It’s just damn plain.
The salad was weird if you are into quinoa you will like it. I’m not. No dressing, no taste.
Pizza wasn’t any better. Not enough toppings, not enough cheese.
It’s rare when I don’t like Italian food but this is a sad exception. Not recommending this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a Tram 28 sight seeing tour we walked to Jamie’s Italian for a late lunch. We were overwhelmed with the atmosphere in this restaurant. We were served by Joy who’s passion and drive to satisfy the guests is impressive. We took it slow with some starters, and after that the main dish. During all this Joy was helpfull, kind and searching for opportunities to make us more happy. He even created a dessert from Wodka, Champagne, suiker, cream and Lemon on his own initiative. We closed the afternoon with some tasteful scotch whiskey. We had an amazing afternoon. Thank you for writing another memory in our city trip book. René and Menekşe

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were very disappointed about our visit at Jamie's.
1) The waiter spilt coke over my wife and didn't even apologize. Normally it's no problem for us, but at least an excuse would have been appropriate.
2) Most of the tables are unstable. Two bottles felt down because of that.
3) The waiter didn't take empty glasses and bottles with him. He just went with empty hands. The dishes stood about half an hour.
4) All of the pepper mills didn't work or were empty. The waiter checked them and stood them back an the tables.
5) The risotti weren't good. The smoked salmone tasted like convenience from the supermarket. The pasta hadn't enough sauce. There was no parmesan at the table. The portions were to big (for starter and dessert). The salmon tatar was fine, but there was a piece of backbone in it. The ravioli bites are a nice idea, but nothing i would order again.
6) There were to much of peas in the meals. It's salmone with pasta and peas, not peas with salmon and pasta. Also in the risotto the peas were to dominant.
7) We got a broken plate.
