★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful staff, delicious breakfast included, but some of the room features are anniying...particularly the water contols...i HATED having to constantly push the button to keep the water going while i took my shower.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here for one night when in Porto, in the garden annex. The rooms were very modern and clean, with a very large balcony/terrace area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Do ask them for ideas for eating out.
The lift to my annex was out of order: these things happen. Also some people may be put off by the showers being push button and requiring a new push every thirty seconds or so: but I do see the environmental benefits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved my stay there! Staff super helpful and kind. I had the ground room overlooking the small urban garden. Love it! Bedings super soft and white! Clean rooms, nicely desinged. Breakfast amazing too! Central location. Only negative the strong perfum smell in the rooms. Gave me a headache and a cough. Hotel would be more comfortable without using such strong smells.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hard to find, with little signage but the trouble is well worth it. Behind the well preserved historic facade is a modern, stylish, QUIET and comfortable hotel that is a perfect centrally located base to explore Porto. We stayed in the most basic room our first night and were graciously upgraded to a mini suite on our second night. Truth be told both rooms were perfect. The breakfast is not to be missed. Fresh everything, meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, eggs cooked to order, you get the idea. Best of all the staff, a shout out to Josepha but truth be told all were so warm welcoming and gracious. We will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The highlights of this place is that its in a great location and still quiet at night, the bed is comfortable, the temperature in the room is pleasant and you have a kettle for making tea or coffee which I appreciate. On the negative side there was a very strong and overpowering scent of perfume in the room and the layout of the bathroom is a bit funny.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms are a pleasure to stay in, fairly spacious and very well-kept. Interesting artwork adorns many areas with a different theme on each floor. Breakfast is fantastic with a varied selection and fresh orange juice.
As for location, it doesn't get much better: close to the bus & train terminals, both waking distance.
What elevates this establishment so high are the staff - they are dedicated, courteous, friendly and professional. Beyond all that, they are real people with compassion and understanding that is not forced from a corporate policy but genuine care.
You will feel loved and wish you did not have to leave.
