★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent restaurant, Portuguese specialties on are on top of the list and very well served. The ambient is typically Portuguese, it is a huge place and they are so well known that you must come early to get a place. Such a success has many reasons two of them are quality in quantity. However it s a little bit noisy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice fish dishes and some tasty steaks if are looking to eat meat instead. Some nice options not listed in the menu like the Lagareiro Style tuna.
A bit too crowded and noisy for my taste, waiters can get your order mixed up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food, great wines, good service. Large dining room makes it a good place for groups. Small outdoor seating area in summer. Booking necessary due to its popularity amongst the locals. Prices reasonable. Try it!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The price suits the quality and quantity of the food. The room is large and old, so in the same time that you enjoy having meal in such a place, which was belong to military school next to it, some groups arrange a meal there and their noise might bothers others.
Friendly and helpful stuff. Ask for their wine and enjoy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very traditional portuguese place, fantastic menu options in all categories of national gastronomy. It becomes extremely noisy inside once it is full, so my tip for you is to ask for the place in the patio if you prefer a bit more privacy, whenever the weather allows for it. Prices are corresponding to the quality and the quantity of food. Also great service and friendly management. Highly recommended! Also consider a take away options!
