★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was there during the Ao do Gosto festival in August. Park is small, during the festival full of tables to sit and have a barbecue and music. You can buy a typical food and drinks there but it's expensive compare to restaurants on the streets around. Be careful when you buy BATATAS because probably they're just homemade Chips (like Lay's).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the top of the place you could take a very good view on the entire city .windy up there .i didn't go i side the castle for it would cost me 10 euros ... And I had spent lot on visiting .... It is a quite place to take photos and relaxed ...few metres away there is a mini market so you can easily buy drinks and food cheap

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The park is located near the Porto library. The park has 2 entrances. You can enter from both parts. You can visit the park for free.
The park has many benches for us to sit with shadow from the tree, some doves are there to make your day, there is a small water in the middle of the park, when the flowers blossom, it looks more beautiful.
I saw some workers will celan the park from the leaves and kept the maintanance every week. There are many restaurants nearby if you want to eat. Then, you can sit and enjoy the park.
