★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely gardens alongside the River Gilao. In summer local musicians play here but the music is not loud just rather pleasant. The area is also used for interesting exhibitions of local produce and handicrafts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely gorgeous!!! Impeccably maintained in a riverside location. Shade trees, benches, and impeccable flower beds which always have something in bloom. If you are in central Tavira on a hot day, it's a great place to cool off.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful river view straight from your dining table. Locals speak multiple languages. Not as easy to maneuver with the car due to a lot of one way traffic. Best digestion is park and walk. Lots of historic sights.
