O Sporting Clube de Portugal nasceu em 1906 predestinado a alcançar grandes glórias.
Hoje somos, de longe, A Maior Potência Desportiva Nacional com mais de 22 mil títulos conquistados, 42 taças europeias em 7 modalidades distintas (futebol, atletismo, hóquei em patins, andebol, judo, goalball e futsal) e 158 atletas olímpicos que conquistaram 11 medalhas olímpicas: 2 de ouro, 7 de prata e 2 de bronze. Adicionalmente, o Sporting Clube de Portugal assume toda a sua Responsabilidade Social através das 6 modalidades de desporto adaptado que se praticam no Clube com excelentes resultados: presenças de 21 atletas nos Jogos Paralímpicos que conquistaram 14 medalhas e destaque para os 4 títulos europeus e 1 intercontinental conquistados pelo goalball.
