Cleanliness of Alvor leaves a lot to be desired. Being a tourist place and so appreciated it is worth not seeing more care in cleaning.

Congratulations to the parish council of Alvor that lets Praia become an authentic flea market disturbing visitors ... Today I counted more than 25 African and Asian sellers. Cloths nailed to the cliffs etc.

Esqueceram as do alto club (?) e no Alto de S.João junto à escada para a ribeira.
Se fosse eleitor na Freguesia iria "só" por isto votar na actual equipa.

They forgot those from the Alto Club (?) And Alto de S.João next to the stairs to the river.
If I were a voter in the parish I would "only" vote for the current team.

É lamentável que ainda nada tenha sido feito para melhorar o acesso á praia de Alvor, as pessoas continuam a te de andar pela estrada até chegar á praia.
Já era hora de investir no acesso á praia!

It was time to invest in beach access!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Há vários anos que fazemos férias de autocaravana no Alvor. Este ano deparamo-nos com o Parque de autocaravanas fechado e sem alternativas para estacionarmos legalmente e em segurança. Apesar de todos os parques de estacionamento estarem praticamente vazios em todo o lado havia sinais de zona proibida de parar e estacionar autocaravanas. Tivemos de escolher outra zona do Algarve para não sermos obrigados a estacionar na beira da estrada. Num ano em que o turismo tanto sofreu com o impacto da pandemia é uma vergonha afugentarem o turismo itinerante que aqui vem deixar o seu dinheiro. Esperamos sinceramente que pensem em soluções a curto prazo para esta situação
We have been making motorhome holidays in Alvor for several years. This year we are faced with a closed motorhome park with no alternative to park legally and safely. Despite the fact that all car parks were practically empty everywhere, there were signs that it was prohibited to stop and park motorhomes. We had to choose another area of the Algarve so that we would not be forced to park on the side of the road. In a year in which tourism has suffered so much from the impact of the pandemic, it is a shame to chase away itinerant tourism who come here to leave their money. We sincerely hope that you think of short-term solutions to this situation
