Pela última Reorganização administrativa do território das freguesias, de acordo com a Lei nº 11-A/2013 de 28 de Janeiro, esta freguesia juntamente com a freguesia de Freigil passou a constituir a União de freguesias de Freigil e Miomães com sede em Freigil.
 Miomães is a former parish Portuguese municipality of Resende, with 2.77 km ² of area and 359 inhabitants (2011). Its population density was 129,6 hab / km ².
According to Law nº 11-A / 2013 of January 28, the last administrative reorganization of the territory of the parishes, together with the parish of Freigil, became the Freigil and Miomães Freguesia Union based in Freigil.
