★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOW! This was by far the best tour we did on our trip to Portugal and Madrid (maybe even ever!). We had a great time and could not recommend the tour enough. When searching for wine tours in Douro a lot had horrible reviews. We read about Lab Tours on Danielle Moss's blog and so glad we decided to spend a little extra for this tour. It was very personal and the best part (other than the views and wine/food) was our guide, Diogo. Diogo was not only early for pickup and patiently waited for us outside our hotel, but brought us the famous pastel de nata, explained everything we did, and even did the tour at our last winery which was so nice. He was able to answer any question we had and we truly had a great day. Diogo- thank you for your hospitality and congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I couldn't recommend Lab Tours and Diogo enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent experience! Great staff in reception and restaurant and wine tasting was interesting.
Unfortunately we didn't get to do the wine tour due covid-19 restrictions but it's also possibly!
Only thing I would recommend on improving is wine tasting experience as my self and my partner we both knew quite some stuff about wine production and we both agreed if there would be an option for a more experience wine tasting with more wine and perhaps some deeper details that would have been perfect.
Other then that I definitely recommend the place!

Miguel was a fantastic guide and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the region and what makes Portuguese wine so incredible. We had the opportunity to see two very special wineries, eat an amazing lunch, and take relaxing cruise down the Douro. Miguel arranged all the details and made it very for us to enjoy the experience. He was also kind enough to handle all the shipping of the wine and port we bought that day. When we plan our next trip to Portugal, LAB will certainly be part of it.
