Beautiful chapel with lots of trees and shadows. The chapel was restored. It is in good condition and safe. I advise you to visit. Your Party will be held on September 30th in Honor of Senhora do Parto. Let's all celebrate your party.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ex-libris da localidade, a Capela de Nossa Senhora do Parto ou Capela da Sr.ª do Encontro, foi edificada sob direcção do artista bracarense Marceliano de Araújo em 1756, a ele é atribuída alguns motivos beneditinos do Templo.
Na frontaria existem imagens em dois grupos sobre penhas arredondadas, representando o Encontro de Nossa Senhora com o Seu Filho.
No interior tem dois belos caixilhos Rococó que se julgam desenhados por André Soares.
Ex-libris of the locality, the Chapel of Our Lady of Childbirth or Chapel of the Lady of the Encounter, was built under the direction of the artist from Braga Marceliano de Araújo in 1756, and is attributed some Benedictine motifs of the Temple.
In the front there are images in two groups on rounded cliffs, representing the Encounter of Our Lady with Her Son.
Inside there are two beautiful Rococo frames that are thought designed by André Soares.
