★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restaurant specializing in cod plates located in a lovely avenue of Lisbon. Nice atmosphere, professional and diligent staff, correct portions, honest cuisine, prices above the average but worth the surplus because the quality, presentation and taste of the various types of cod preparations exceed the average offered by similar restaurants. During weekends usually is crowded so is advisable to make a reservation in advance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m sorry to say the food was completely inedible. It was served cold and the flavors were really just bad. By bad I mean we left our plates as is after a few bites. Separately the service was very slow. The price was quite high for Lisbon standards and for that price really this level of cooking is unacceptable. I would expect more from airplane food let alone a restaurant for 40 plus euros a head.
I was genuinely shocked at how unpleasant the experience was given the high Google ratings and am writing this review to let other people know…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The name of the restaurant is matching the food taste: the meals of cod are delicious. All the decoration of the room is based on the theme of the cod. The staff gives good advices about local Portuguese wines. I recommend it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We liked the food pretty well, especially the moqueca de bacalhau, which comes with rice. They don't serve tap water, only bottles, which is annoying. I wish they provided butter with the bread convert. Prices are reasonable considering the restaurant feels fancy and has a nice ambiance, although you could spend less and get the same food somewhere more casual.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The octopus was amazing but we couldn’t say the same to the cod fish we ordered. The cod fish was slightly too dry and taste funny which we couldn’t enjoy to finish it. Probably some other menu with sauces will go well. 5 stars for the environment and services from the staffs. Recommend to book the table in advance.
