★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Um lavadouro era o ponto de encontro de toda a aldeia, o local onde habitualmente as mulheres iam lavar a roupa antes de haver água canalizada e máquinas. Dado o tempo que cada uma demorava a cumprir a sua tarefa, esse mesmo tempo era passado em amena conversa, "lavagem de roupa" e troca de conhecimentos e informações. Embora atualmente ainda sejam muito utilizados, estão gradualmente a transformar-se em elementos turísticos e históricos.
