★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leitão here is as good as what we had in Mealhada. Restaurant is small and the staff is very nice. The only thing I didn’t like is that the Leitão was served room temperature but on a hot plate(?) and when I advised the server, she said Leitão is not served cold but that was not the case when we had it at Pedro dos Leitoes. We’ll definitely go back but I will ask for the pork to be hot when I order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there at around 3:30pm as it said they were open. We got there they said they were closed for meals and to come back later. On opening hours says they close at 10:30 pm.
At around 9 pm went back again for dinner. Got in and the lady recognised my husband saying “you were here earlier weren’t you?” And said that unfortunately, there was no more Leitão and that we should have told her to reserve it!!!
Sorry… SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD HIM HOW IT WORKED THEN.
I was going to say that… I NEVER SAW A LEITÃO HOUSE RUNNING OUT OF LEITÃO.
Did not say this to her as she was actually nice and offered a card.
Thank you but we won’t be coming back.
Lady advice: please reserve leitão só you can avoid disappointment.
