I did not know this store and when looking for the Church of N. Srª. from Loreto I went in unpretentiously looking for long silver necklaces. I came across a beautiful collection and I couldn't resist. The service was impeccable! I ended up buying more and didn't regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible, terrible place to go. My partner went to this shop to buy a birthday gift for me while we were on a weekend trip in Lisbon. He was not informed that the products were not refundable. I did not like the jewellery and when we returned to the store, we were told that there is no refund and I needed to buy something. No one told him this was the case before he bought the items. They say that this is standard in Portugal - but if you have an English speaker who comes in and clearly is not a local, should you not tell them thar products are non-refundable before they are bought? I feel like my partner has been ripped off and conned, we cannot leave Portugal without spending our money in this shop. No flexibility at all.. very, very disappointing. I do not recommend that anyone goes to this shop to buy anything, especially not as a foreigner. Do yourself a favour and skip this place!!!

My husband, cousin, and I have purchased earrings, necklaces, and gifts for ourselves and family and friends. They have affordable items, all the way to family heirlooms. The craftsmanship is UNPARALLELED, and I work in the jewelry business...The staff is extremely helpful and speaks multiple languages. Please ask for Jenny at the Chiado location!
