We were greeted with a champagne cocktail, followed by a starter, two main taster courses of a fish (cod in creamed potato and rocket salad leaves) and meat dish (steak), and a delightful dessert. The red wine complimented the whole meal. Comfortable setting and excellent service with attention to detail

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hamburger had no bun — but the beef patty was tasty. The sweet potato chips was icy cold, and must have been precooked, definitely not tasty. The lemon meringue was the best dish for the day. Soft, fluffy and light and great with a cappuccino. I’ll be back for some more lemon tart (lemon meringue).

Best experience was that the waitress took the table outside just for the two of us.

For those Americans traveling to Lisbon, this place is excellent. It’s in a good location, can’t get lost finding it, as well they speak English in case you are worried about having any miscommunications.
Food was superb. Here was our meal:
Octopus salad
- delicious, fresh; we got the two person portion and it was enough for an app
Codfish
- saltier than anticipated, but codfish is normally cooked this way (first night in Lisbon); slightly fried but overall, food was light with the fresh arugula on top
Steak Lidia
- signature dish; we ordered it medium rare, definitely was more on the rare side (I’m okay with that, just fair warning); lots of potatoes, overall, a very filling entree
We ended our evening with two cappuccinos and a lime tart. All of this together was extremely delicious and we felt filled with food and love by the end. A wonderful atmosphere. The bill came out to 70 euros (oh, we got a 15 euro bottle of wine too :) and two sparkling waters).
Quick note: bring vaccine card for eating inside.
