★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nicely prices grocery and food selection. They have everything from bargain bottles of wine to fresh strawberries and even a fresh bakery providing bread and deserts baked all throughout the day.

They had a fabulous luxury food line in for Christmas & New year..sorry that they are not continuing with it, as would buy them all year round, especially the Salmon Encroute. Generally the Salad items/choices are much better and fresher than many other supermarkets in the Portimao area. The only downside is that, there are never enough cashiers open.

Excellent fresh bakery section. Alcohol very cheap.
Not as tidily laid out as most of their Irish branches.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oviously visited the lidl a while ago and the first thing what i discovered whas.A person near by the entrance whas asking for money wich is not something bads.Several employees where sissing this money asking person in fact away.Probably the employees recieved the order for removing this asking person.Then i went to ask whats going on by this person,this person explained me that,dont recieve any income from social services and dont have a roof above the head or what so ever.What really bothers me that this kind of human curcomstances are possible in Europe.Anyway if you see that as an employee wich whas wroten on a carton.If it whas me who whas 'working' there then i would search a possibility to help this person with food what they trough away and thats a lot of as i saw.Instead of putting people in the bad picture or removing them from places,helping by donation wich goes anyway in the trash?.Will put the pictures of the people who are choosing for putting people farder in the mud then helping.The thirth picture is from a person who stole money from a homeless moneyasking person and became fisical asswell?.
