★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm a bikepaker from Paris, now travelling for 9 months or so. My tire went flat around Alcantarilha for the second time... Couldn't take it off, so I had to push my bike for a few km before, by great fortune, I stumbled accross Luis Mv. The owner of a bicycle shop. He hosted me for 2 days, while completely revising my ride, making it look brandnew again. Also gave me loads of precious tips. Many thanks to him, a true bicycle connoisseur!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luis was fabulous. We're travelling around the Algarve in our motorhome with our bikes on a rack at the back.
The front wheel of my bike broke free from the rack whilst driving along and it dragged along the road for 100 metres before we realised.
The tire, tube and wheel rim were all trashed.
Luis fixed everything in about half an hour for a very reasonable price and fixed a few other things at no cost.
He spoke English very well and provided lots of good advice.
Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the middle of a long tour I had a minor problem. Luis fixed that, my broken dynamo (thought to be beyond repair), replaced rear wheel (cracked rim) and cleaned and adjusted everything. All this was done with great skill and without any wait.
The best mechanic I have every encountered.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Louis is a real bike-geek and is really here to help you. I came to him to buy a front bike rack, but he recommended me to not buy one cause it wouldn't be beneficial and I left with re-adjusted brakes, a lot of bike advice and a typical Algarve coffee-bun for the morning. Can definitely recommend him if you need anything for your bike

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a place to get your bike sorted! Broke my rear brake during a Roadtrip through Portugal. Called in the day before, upon arrival Louis from LifeBikes had everything ready and finished up my bike within hours, full bike wash included. Can't recommend this place enough, Luis is one of the best bike mechanics I've ever come across, and a total bike maniac as well. Obrigado ?

I had some very special parts to fix and he was able to find a solution in a very short time and he evan helped me with way more than I actually expected. Riding my bike after his repair felt like brand new ?. I can recommend his shop to 100%, please support him and visit his shop!
