If you are thinking of renting a bike in Lisbon, this is definitely your place. I stumbled upon their storefront and... the two great staff set me up with a great electric bike. They set it up perfectly, showed me how to use it (first time on electric bike-very easy), gave me a suggested route for the afternoon and above all, they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would send my friends and family to this place for sure if they were ever visiting Lisbon. And I’ll definitely rent from them if I’m ever back. GREAT place. The bikes I rented (one road, one mountain) were a really good value, and any service needs I had were expertly addressed. The people I worked with in the shop were also all avid riders, so were not only sensitive to my needs but also willing to share ideas about challenging local rides (of which there are many). All quite acceptable, and billing problem solved after some mailing, plus the spare tyre compensated. I will trust these guys in future also, thanks a lot!

For prices similar to bike rental places offering only urban & commuter bikes, they provide the option of high end Canyon road and mountain bikes. And the staff are very friendly, multi-lingual, and accommodating. Coming from the US and traveling through Ireland, France, Spain, and Portugal with aspirations to do some road biking, Lisbon Bike Rental had the beat options that I found. I rented the Canyon Endurance electric road bike and it allowed me to see the Lisbon and Sintra areas in ways I would not have been able to otherwise by being able to bike from Lisbon up the coast to Sintra. But beware if you try to do this there are too many beautiful sights to see to rush! My only slight critique is that I think lights should be available as it's easy to get caught out after dark in the winter days especially. But overall 5 stars. Lisbon Bike Rentals helped me have experiences on my 1.5 month trip through Western Europe that I wouldn't have had otherwise.

Friendly team putting customers enjoyment first, and working with a relaxed approach. Really good selection of bikes, well maintained and efficient online booking system. Bikes are excellent and perfectly serviced. You can book one you think you wanted but if needed might change for other machine if it is available at the time. They do everything to leave you with big smile and grin at the end of the day?? All of them are so helpful and really...really FRIENDLY? Location of the shop is perfect. So close to railway station. And the best there is no hassle to take the bike on the train...absolutely bo problem? so you can rent one of theirs high quality bikes...jump on the train...and in 30-40min happily cycling in lovely countryside around Cascais and Sintra?
