T	Tatiana Dias on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent 7 nights here and the space is really good - loved the outdoor kitchen, pool & lounge area. The reasons for the 3* are: 1. WiFi 2. Access to the beach 3. Bedroom is damp. WiFi was good near the kitchen, but it did not reach our bedroom. Access to the beach was advertised as direct, but it was not advised that we needed hiking gear. This was a major selling point for us and a major disappointment when we arrived. Bedroom got damp very quickly and there were no windows. We needed to keep the door open constantly, including during the night while we slept.

Colin creates a good atmosphere and somehow manages to have only wonderful people stay at his lodge, as everyone I've met was super nice and fun. The beach is close by, as a matter of fact only seconds away from a beautiful view of the ocean. I highly recommend this lodge and would always stay here again. Big thanks goes out to Colin and his team (Erik and Katie) - keep up the good work!

Great location : a 5 minute walk down to the beach (10 minutes on the steep upward way back). Yet you want to drive your car to the nearest car park if you carry your surfing equipment... First house in a row : so the view forward is open all the way to the sea ! Many independent rooms, most of them with en-suite bathroom, some with a kitchenette. Note 1 : the only full size indoor kitchen is kept private for the owners ; you need to rely on the outdoor kitchen area or the small kitchenettes in the rooms for cooking... Note 2 : there is no dishwasher and no large washing basin to ease the hand wash chores. Plus, the staff charges 5€ for each laundry load.

The lodging is beautiful and really comfortable and lots of cool activities and amazing backyard pool area to relax and meet other guests. Highly recommended!

Perfect location with an amazing view, very good vibes, clean rooms, .. Everyone was extremely nice, welcoming and helpful and the common areas make it very easy for you to meet new people. If you’re looking for a good and chill time, the Living Lodge in Arrifana is your place to be!

We felt also very safe, since they have Corona tests for all people visiting. Can definitely recommend this place. Thanks again!

We received a newly renovated room, which was extremely fresh and comfy! The open kitchen and outdoor area is the highlight of this lodge! Meeting new interesting people over a few beers in the evening does add the cherry on top after a full day of surfing. We organized the surf equipment and course from the neighboring lodge, which was fantastic. If you come here, ask for Nelson to be your instructor! This dude knows his craft and develops you with full on passion, tailored to your progress. Thanks again to all the amazing people we met here and we will be back in Autumn for more surf and shenanigans! Keep it eazzzyy!! D

BBQ and outdoor kitchen a definite plus. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun and chilled surf getaway!
