★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O antigo Hospital da Misericórdia inaugurado em 1878. A fachada foi unida à Capela da Lapa. Situa-se no Largo Tinoco de Sousa, cujo nome provém do primeiro provedor.
Depois funcionou o Liceu Nacional de V. N. De Famalicão.
Atualmente acolhe o Pólo da Universidade Lusíada - Norte.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Os professores são incompetentes e chumbam os alunos sem dó nem piedade. Sinceramente não recomendo esta universade. Maior parte dos professores faz o que lhes apetece, muitos não querem saber, outros não sabem de todo do que estão a falar, outros reprovam os alunos só porque não vão com a cara deles, enfim, esta universidade é uma vergonha, na minha opiniao, e não recomendo.
Teachers are incompetent, and they fall on students without mercy or pity. I honestly do not recommend this universade. Most teachers do what they want, many do not want to know, others do not know at all what they are talking about, others reproach students just because they do not go with their faces, anyway, this university is a shame, in my opinion , and would not recommend it.

Em termos de ensino, é competente... Pena que não tenha ferramentas para ajudar os alunos, no final do curso, em procura de emprego... 3 estrelas já é bom

Muito autruismo e falta de apoio, a quem lhes paga o vencimento. É um salve_se quem puder... Apoio às universidades públicas...
