★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cool exhibition spot, but the exhibit we saw was kind of sparce. Not sure if it's normally like this, but we were in and out in like 45mins - would have liked a little more bang for our buck. Also this particular exhibit had a huge flashing light out the front that couldn't be avoided and was concerning for anyone with epilepsy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ MAAT is the museum of Art, Architecture and technology. I visited this museum the first Sunday of the month, when it’s free entry, there were some interesting exhibitions, I liked the uniqueness of this place. Everything is well organised. I totally recommend a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Contemporary and abstract art combined with engineering and generators - very different but worth a visit. Extensive exhibition housed in contrasting buildings. Lots to see and do, great place to spend a few hours and reflect. Great insights into old traditions and how energy was generated from coal. The use of art is thought provoking and innovative. Worth a visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ MAAT is a museum dedicated to art, architecture and technology. It opened to the public in 2016. The museum is located directly on Tagus River. From here you can walk to Belem Tower, Geronimo's Monastery, The Monument to Discoveries, as they are between 12-20 minutes walking distance from the museum.
The modernly designed structure can imply the mouth of a shark if you chose your photo angle carefully. To reach the entrance you need to climb Several steps that extend to a considerable distance to form sitting areas where you can take a break and enjoy the view and the nice weather of Lisbon. You can also take the mildly rising ramp to go to the roof of the museum that serves as an observatory deck.
Admission fee: 9€ (reduced: 6€)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful museum, with a viewpoint and a spectacular view. You can admire the beauty of the Tejo River, boats making tours, Puente 25 de Abril and Cristo Rei de Almada, on the other side of the river. Five stars.
I love Lisbon!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their coffee shop offer amazing views over Tagus River. The architecture of the museum sets expectations quite high, so once you finish visiting you might be a bit disappointed as there is not much exhibited. The tickets also offer admission to the other museum next door, Tejo Power Station which we found more interesting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always fascinating to visit this place. Interesting temporary exhibitions!
However, they had no free leaflets on free days so that can be disappointing because the queues get massive.
The old building exhibition sticks! Take double masks.
Ps. They open at 11am on Sunday, not 10am has it shows here
