★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice food. I had bolo caco filete esp. (fish) and it was very tasty and fresh. I can definitely recommend it. 1 pt less because a drink on the menu was not available and we didn't get an additional napkin for cleaning our hands after eating the dish (food is meant to be eaten with hands and you don't get cutlery). Otherwise I'd have given 5pts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool Madeira bar with friendly staff. Poncha was really interesting and the beer is nice and well priced. We were in while they had live music on and it was just a very cool, chilled bar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite place in Lisbon! The atmosphere was great, and the food was fantastic! Our waitress/owner was incredibly friendly, she talked to us about the food and drink which hail from the island of Madeira. Be sure to order the poncha! It didn't feel very touristy, just a genuine place serving authentic food. Be sure to bring cash.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Madera poncha in town! The stuff is so nice and friendly, the price is 4 euros per poncha, speaks good English and everything is just great there. If you look for a more local bar, choose this one for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited in 2019. We loved it! Wonderful staff and owner. My wife’s mother was from Madeira. It made my wife feel close to her mother’s home. We plan to visit again when we return this November ?
