Madrugada offers support throughout illness and beyond, to people in the Algarve who are affected by a life limiting illness. Our specialist clinical team provide homebased end of life care to those who prefer to spend their remaining days in their own home.
The Madrugada Centre in Praia da Luz helps people and those who are important to them, manage the challenges of life limiting illness through counselling, therapeutic and creative activities, complementary therapies, advice and education. We provide care equipment and practical assistance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a well known Charity Shop which is very well stocked and supported. The volunteer staff are very friendly and helpful. Worth a browse or to donate unwanted but saleable goods. They offer a pick up and delivery service at no charge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shop raises funds for end of life care. It sells a wide range of furniture, bric a brac, books, home wares etc. Well worth a visit. The shop was recently extended to allow beds to be sold and the extra space is very welcome. I work here as a volunteer selling books.
