★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little unassuming restaurant. Fresh fish with the most wonderful flavours! The staff are attendant and communicate well in English, very accommodating for a family member with extreme allergies.
The food is great, fish is prepared simply, but so so so good. The best restaurant we visited in manta rota- so good we came back a second and third time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waiter won't like you if you say you're Brazilian. My wife and I were treated badly this afternoon. I will certainly never return. By the way the food is great. But I felt like asking a favor for one of the staff. If you're Brazilian, skip this place. The waiter seems don't care with his manager. Terrible experience .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been told that the best fish in Manta Rota is here. Unfortunately I was unable to go inside to try because of my dog. Would be nice if "Man's best friend" would be treated as such in Portugal instead of being barred by Hotels, restaurants and cafes. Even travelling on a bus or train is a problem. Why is it the French, Italians, Germans etc. have no problem with this? My dog is not only more congenial, but also behaves better than most of the human crowd I've experienced on the Algarve!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good grilled fish "Robalo" (sea bass) and a "Barrigas de atum" (tuna's belly).
1 year later, grilled fish "Robalo" (sea bass) and grilled sardines.
For desert "Torta de Amêndoa" (in the photo is just 1 dose, 2 slices just 3€) and "Dom Rodrigo" (also 3€).
