★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food, good price! We had cataplana de marisco and amêijoas. Everything was fresh and with a lot of flavor. Beautiful spot! When I will be back in Ericeira I will treat myself in Mar à Vista!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst restaurant-experience during our whole week in Portugal. I don’t understand how this place can have good reviews. The waiter was rude and made us feel very uncomfortable from the moment we walked in the door. Did not say a single word and threw our food on the table almost as if he was bothered by having us. We ordered the seafood pasta which was a tasteless broth/soup with some overcooked macaroni and seafood. The waiter was standing next to us blowing his nose and throwing silverware around etc. while we tried to eat. After a few minutes we decided to excuse ourselves and left because we did not receive what we expected or paid for. The waiter made us pay for everything even though we barely touched our food and gave us no apology.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely family-owned place. Great service. Tasty food. But I got sick 4 hours after. Perhaps I have an undiagnosed shellfish allergy, as I have never had so much shellfish in one sitting. Or perhaps just bad luck. In any case, I am now on a break from shellfish!

This is a Portuguese trap, can't imagine if tourists go there... In good Portuguese: não recomendamos, só arroz por 40 EUR!

What a treat in this small family owned establishment. Customer care is beyond expectation, it being a small place. The seafood is so fresh it is almost a crime to eat it, but soo good! The shellfish starter was tasty, but the spider crab is all my wife talked about for days. Places like this are a Portuguese national treasure. Do have a go at it and try it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic seafood restaurant. The staff is kind as it gets and the food is delicious. Really fresh products, you get to choose your own lobster or crab! The clams are very tasty, the prawns were perfectly cooked and the grilled lobster was simply perfect. Good price / quality ratio!
