★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meh. Service wasn’t great. Asked for recommendations. “We do good food. That’s what I recommend” or something like that. The pizzacata tasted like anchovies. Bread is a rip off and you get overcharged.
The Curry mussels were good. Great location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It seems simple, and it must have been said thousands of times, good food, good wine and good service.
But Mar das Latas seem to sit above the rest.
So if you're willing to treat yourself to an above average meal, paired with above average wine, served by above average staff this is the place to go.
Twice I've been here and twice I've tasted Portuguese wine I did not find elsewhere, chosen by the waiter without breaking the bank (€25/30 ~), though, I strongly suspect their carefully curated wine list will accommodate a broad range of budgets.
To top it all off the interior is very tastefully put together, it would seem that the patrons of this exquisite place left no detail unattended.
So, if you like food, wine and restaurants, this is definitely for you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best restaurant in Ericeira! The staff makes you feel at home, and the owner is amazing in sharing their extensive collection of delicious Portugese wines. Not to mention the food is delicious. Always bring all my friends visiting there and I can't wait to come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were here for dinner and wine and absolutely enjoyed it. I had the shrimp gyoza and my friend the truffle risotto and it was delicious. The staff here is also very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy, drinks and food are amazing. We'll come back. 5 stars!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In a town where great restaurants are everywhere, Mar das Latas is the greatest of the great. The chef is a culinary wizard, and hosts Miguel and Ana make you feel special. The wine vault is Ericeira’s best, and the view can not be beat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed our evening! The staff is really friendly and helpful and the food was good. One thing: the fried egg with the risotto and churros tasted a bit fishy … I guess everything is fried in the same oil.
