★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best octopus we had in Lagos. Tempura green beans had the most amazing dip. I was not a huge fan of the tuna carpaccio because of all the raw onions but that's a personal thing. Service was friendly and efficient. It's an extremely popular restaurant with many guests who seemed to be return customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for lunch, and it was delicious. One of us had the lunch special with seabass. Fish, veggies, drink, soup - all for only 10 € - great deal. Also tried the octopus tempuras, ovo roto, and the goat-cheese stuffed peppers. All of it was really good. Great service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Maria Petisca restaurant for two nights straight. The appetizers were great, mostly the codfish cakes, the chorizo and the meatballs with onions. The octopus was the best part, it was delicious! The price was right for what we ate, even a bit cheap actually. Totally recommended!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to this place because of all the positive recommendations and, well… they are well deserved!
On the drinks side: I would highly recommend the red fruit sangria!
On the foods side: all the starters looked delicious. I took the octopus for my main dish and it was really good. It was the first time I tried octopus and I was not disappointed.
My friend picked the Burger and she loved it as well.
We will definitely go back to this great address!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve read about Maria Petisca restaurant and today was the day. Started with a pitcher of basil & cucumber sangria. Then this Folhadinhos-de alhura (a wonderful smoky sausage created for by those, and for those who don’t eat pork), then a main course of duck breast with these incredible scalloped potatoes. This place is great!!!
We returned on January 4th, note 3 new pics. It was great!
