Best meal in Portugal! Marta cooks from the heart and presents typical Portuguese food with a special flair. The tomato soup with poached egg and grilled chourisco was sumptuous. The pork and broadbeans were delectable. The desserts unbelievable and a wonderful affordable wine list! This is the place to eat! Do not miss it!! Family friendly as well and excellent local flare. Very inexpensive and such a delight.

I've been here loads of times, but just reviewing now. Great food at an amazing price. Friendly family owners, it's always a pleasure to visit them. Don't miss out on the steaks and the tapas. Not low mobility friendly due to the organisation of the space.

We (two couples) tried this restaurant for lunch based upon it very good rating, but were not really convinced that it is the place for us. I didn't like the fact that the restaurant in in a cellar without any natural light. The main dining area also doesn't have any positive atmosphere (quite normal for Portugal). We didn't choose the "prato do dia" end ended up paying 50 EUR (only 2 small beers and otherwise water), which is not expensive, but lso not cheap. The satisfaction with the food was a mixed basket. Two overall liked their meal and the other two didn't. The service was very friendly and efficient, though.
