J	Jose City on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tenía ganas de verlo por las reseñas y fuimos un sábado, se puede aparcar justo al lado pero hay gorrilla así que lo aparcamos más abajo. Si soy totalmente sincero, me decepcionó un poco supongo que lo esperaba con más puestos diferentes, pero al menos cuando fuimos nosotros apenas había un puesto de verduras, uno de quesos, otro de chacinas, otro de pescado, un par de ellos más y una panadería. Lo que más merece la pena son los quesitos pequeños que los puedes encontrar por 1 eurito, los mismos que venden en el lidl o en el continente por el doble o triple por estar plastificados. Si vas a Elvas es visita obligatoria, pero no tengas grandes pretensiones de mercado de abastos típico en España. I was looking forward to seeing it from the reviews and we went on a Saturday, you can park right next to it but there is a gorilla so we parked it further down. If I'm totally honest, I was a bit disappointed, I suppose I expected it with more different stalls, but at least when we went there was hardly a vegetable stall, one for cheeses, another for cold meats, another for fish, a couple more of them and a bakery. What is most worthwhile are the small cheeses that you can find for 1 euro, the same ones that they sell in the lidl or on the continent for double or triple because they are laminated. If you go to Elvas it is a mandatory visit, but do not have great pretensions of a typical food market in Spain.

Podem tomar o pequeno almoço comendo o famoso brinhol ( massa bem frita que fica crocante). Um pouco de gordura com o custo de 1€ cada bocado acompanhado de uma chávena de café com leite. Único. Podem estacionar o carro em frente ao mercado. Market with special characteristics because the sellers are the gardeners who go every Saturday to sell the products they plant in their gardens. You can have breakfast eating the famous brinhol (well fried dough that turns crunchy). A little fat for €1 each with a cup of coffee with milk. Single. You can park your car in front of the market.

Tiene puestos con estructura se pescadería, pero venden fruta verdura y vinos. Muy ricos los churros porras que venden allí, muy dulces. Fantastic market that served as ammunition like in the secession war in 1700's. It has stalls with the structure of a fishmonger, but they sell fruit, vegetables and wines. The churros porras that they sell there are very delicious, very sweet.
D	Diana Mateos Carrión on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Había pocos puestos por eso no le doy más estrellas, mucha variedad en quesos, compramos bastantes ya que los había desde 1'50€ en adelante, seguramente volveremos a por más, sobre todo a por este que fue uno de los que más nos gustó junto con otro que tenía hierbas aromáticas y era muy tierno. There were few stalls so I don't give it more stars, a lot of variety in cheeses, we bought quite a few since there were from €1.50 onwards, we will surely come back for more, especially for this one that was one of the ones we liked the most along with another that had aromatic herbs and was very tender.
