★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The maître dit was quite unwelcoming, while a waiter was sitting me at a table, he just came and said "No sir! Not here! Other table!"... Okay not even "Hello", no "welcome" nothing whereas all the young waitresses and waiters were all really gentle.
At the end of the dinner I went to the bathrooms, and just when I finish washing my hands, I step towards the door and the door opens very fast almost hitting me, and the Maître dit was here to check if I didn't leave the restaurant without paying
Good pizzas, good place, but the Maître dit doesn't fit at all...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Way too busy and overpriced for the quality of food. The shrimp was pretty much standard fare and avoid the “Asian Vegetables”. The wait staff forgot the side dishes and I had to ask for the bill 3 times as others kept walking by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It wasn't a perfect experience, but the food was very good albeit not spectacular. We had mushroom risotto, carbonara, two "croquetas" and a tiramisu at the end. All was served with two glasses of house wine and that put the tab at 54€. Not cheap, but I guess that pays for the placement (Av. República) and the batallion of helpers we had serving us during the meal. We got the wrong order twice, served by two different helpers so some lack of sync by the staff; one of the lights circuit went out, producing a more romantic environment (just needed a candle), but hey... Everyone is entitled to have bad nights. It didn't top my choice for Italian cuisine in Lisbon, but the food was good enough to ask for a re-run.
Also, if you are reading this, pay attention to the entrées: The (marvelous) rose pepper butter was too soft due to the heat of the room...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Altough it was a safe first aproach with pizza as the lunch choice (repetition of a visit to another of their restaurants) one thing is true...consistency in the quality of the delivery exists!! Another amazing pizza on the table!
In the meantime it was possible to scout the place...and congrats! The space is amazing! With a sober decoration, it is for sure a pleasent spot for a meal. The service reveals to be at the same level and it was possible to observe the other italian inspiration plates that seemed tasty...
...And they are! Second visit and good plate execution on the table! At the same level as the pizzas!
The desert proves the quality consistency and closes the meal with a very positive note!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time I went there.
The place is very cozy, well designed and easily accommodates a lot of people without being too crowded. Though, they don’t have any kids menu neither are prepared for under 2yo children. For that reason I’m giving 4 star.
We ate a spaghetti carbonara and a lasagna. Both were particularly tasty.
I always taste a carbonara in a first time restaurant so that I can compare it. I must admit that a carbonara without cream (as they cook it) is very good. Lasagna was also good with that crispy cheese combination.
Price is somewhat affordable given the location, service (staff was great) and food/drinks.
A place to repeat, probably without kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, I was quite apprehensive about going here after reading some of the reviews... Somewhat pricey, but, heavens, the staff are simply brilliant.
The cocktails are wholesome & the house wine lives up to its name.
The mushroom and quail starter (to share) was somewhat less in quantity than expected, but still delivered a savory and unexpectedly delicious bite.
However, the pizzas are strong in ingredients and flavour; and would happily have had some more.
To end, the desserts were surprisingly better than expected - try the apple crumble and you shouldn't be disappointed.
All in all, a good place to try, combined with fantastic staff and you won't be left hungry.
Just hopefully, someone else is picking up the tab!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant it is well decorated, with nice staff. However it is overpriced. The drinks are not cheap and the food doesn't match to a chef cousin restaurant. It is just a nice spot with a view for the avenue. The service is slow if you order fancy food dishes that they present on the menu. The wine list is good, but only if you buy a bottle. The bathroom is very small and not cosy. The desert menu it is not Italian at all... The restaurant is a little noisy, which is weird, because they present the restaurant being trendy or chic... a bistro.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a walk-in (hadn't checked out the place before), but it looked nice and it was close to the hotel. Great experience. We went a bit early so it was mostly empty; by the time we left (after 9pm) it was packed without an empty table to be found. The service was great and the whole staff friendly and welcoming (maybe as we were among the few tables to begin with?) and the food was excellent. We had the octopus appetizer and the black risotto and fried cod. It's not cheap, but it's also not overpriced, which honestly makes it a great find. I would recommend this place.
