Once we were in Portugal, she was extremely helpful and took care of filing all the paperwork, etc. She has continued to be helpful, even after we had paid the final bill. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been planning to move to Portugal for quite some time. While living in France we found online a property near Estoril and made an offer. Last minute we contacted Mesquita Advogados and requested help with the purchase. We were received on very short notice and luckily lawyer Ivone and her team agreed to help. The house turned out to be illegally constructed for the bigger part and thankfully we did not purchase it thanks to Ivone’s recommendations. We found another house soon after and also here the due diligence was again done perfectly. The experience was absolutely amazing. We received communications in perfect English to the point, on time and she made time to listen to all our concerns, worries and answered all our questions with empathy and professionalism. We even got help to subscribe ourselves in the municipality, to obtain NHR and public health care. All this made our transition to move to Portugal very smooth and we now are happy residents of Cascais. We can 100% recommend Mesquita Advogados and want to thank the team for a job well done!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Helped us get a residence permit. Speaks excellent English. Provides a lot of value for the legal fees that are charged. Made dealing with SEF a breeze. The SEF appointment booking is included in the fee! This is huge. Otherwise, you must sit on the phone for many hours trying to get through. Tip: Be sure to ask for help with any immigration or legal need you may have as the firm may be able to provide a solution that you are not aware of. For example, my wife also needs to exchange her old driver’s license for a Portuguese one. The firm offered to assist for a reasonable fee. Read through the power of attorney and you can see there is a lot of listed services the firm can offer that can save many hours of time. It does not hurt to ask, even if the service is not listed on the website or power of attorney.
