Very good personal service provided by this bank so glad I chose Millennium.
Claudia helped me open a bank account. It took about 24 hours for application to be approved after presenting the required documents and information. The final step was to sign after approval to open, as I was traveling I signed the documents in a different town.
(I belive It's normal outside Porto and Lisbon main beaches that it can take up to 3 days for accounts to be approved & only then papers signed. Up to 3 days only applies for applications that require the bank to provide a NIF.
If you have your own NIF then no waiting is required.
Overall impression is staff are proficient in English & was a joy to meet such wonderful bank staff, delivering wonderful service.
I highly recommend this bank & Claudia.
