★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place and hosts. Hired nice Gazelle bicycles. Roads and cycling opportunities very variable from, sometimes difficult, farm tracks to byroads and designated cycle tracks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Monte da Serralheira was just the perfect weekend gettaway. As a family of 5 with young children we found Monte da Serralheira very children friendly. The appartment was very spacious, warm and cozy, it had everything we needed! Breakfast was a must with all the tradicional jams and bread! The owners were the most charming and helpful couple! Definitely we will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were a little uncertain about this stay at first, but ended up loving it and staying and extra day. The drive out is a little disheartening, but once on the farm all is good. The accommodation is rustic but authentic. Everything was clean and functional. The internal courtyard is like a garden sanctuary, guarded by working Portuguese sheep dogs. We would definitely recommend this as something different if visiting Evora. Short drive from farm-stay to the historic town.
