 Despite being under construction, it was possible to visit the small chapel. A must-visit gem. Lots of images, all of them unusual.

A monastery that is being recovered. A place full of history. We were entitled to a spectacular guided tour. The guide, for her dynamism and love for what she does, manages to captivate our attention and share her enthusiasm. Our heritage must be preserved and we must all contribute. The visit costs €1.00 per person, but even so, there are those who are enthusiastic. It was a pleasure to get to know this project by Souza Vieira.

Visita extensa pelas ruinas do românico, lagares, capela única do Sec. XVIII que representa a vida de Cristo em cenas de teatro.
Há possibilidade de prova de vinhos produzidos localmente.
Do melhor no concelho de Baião.
Unmissable monastery on the Romanesque route prior to the founding of the nationality. Very well prepared and friendly guides.
Extensive visit to the Romanesque ruins, wine presses, a unique 18th century chapel that represents the life of Christ in theater scenes.
There is the possibility of tasting locally produced wines.
The best in the municipality of Baião.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite a nice place. If you arrive at opening hour you can taste wine made locally. At the moment (end of April) the monastery is under restoration. I will be back once restoration is completed.
