About Mother Burger
A comida vegan é mais do que as pessoas pensam. É mais do que "comer verdes”. Com criatividade, bom “gosto” e atitude, conseguimos dar-lhe um sabor único e guloso, sem nos levarmos demasiado a sério. É assim que acreditamos que conseguimos desconstruir um pouco a percepção que se tem da comida vegan e ainda abrir este tipo de cozinha, não só a quem é vegan, mas também a quem não é.

The fries were cold, the Burgers disgusting, and the thing they call Mayonnaise is an awful white water.
If this should be the best vegan burger in Lisbon, i am more than disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clearly the WORST VEGAN EXPERIENCE in Portugal(i am vegan 8years and live here long time). Literaly insulting. We ordered 3 burgers which taste and look exactly same only one was litle tiny bit spicy(they call it Hell but no devil in it at all, no sweat on my face). Ingrediences of the burgers oviously cheepest possible coz they have no taste at all. Staff dont speak english not tiny bit. Really uncomfortable to order - took forever to understand the glass of water. Result was 3 glasses of HOT tap water. Rest of order i pointed finger to the pictures but spend 10 minutes with interaction whch should take 30seconds. After burger, french fries and nuggets im still hungry and disapointed a lot. No salt in food, no taste of mayonese - oviously made from powder. Only good item from 30€ order was ketchup. NEVER AGAIN.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was good and tasty. Loved the paper bag and their packaging. It reflects how serious they are with presentation for customers to enjoy as they eat. Flavorful bbq sauce but it kinda lacked some salt. I can say their price is reasonable for the amount of food served and as well as the quality. I even had the feeling that the kitchen where the food was prepared was clean

I ordered 3 burgers and received 1- a different one to what I ordered. they attach a receipt for 3 burgers and put one, a wrong one, in the bag, what's going on there really? The employees are asleep or in the clouds? Then by the time I asked bolt to resolve this, it was too late to order anything decent so no dinner for me. probably someone else got my order instead why I received someone elses...Cheers!

it's just waiters do not understand "beyond meat" as its called "fake meat", be sure when you make an order. And Oreo shake is amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been wanting to try this place ever since they first opened but just never did (since vegans are practically suffocating in veggie burgers from every direction lol) … ordered a meal today and it was really anticlimactic. I’ll start with the good… the spicy cheese balls… they were amazing, so yummy, amazing texture, perfectly spicy. 10/10 would eat again but they should have come with a chutney or nice sauce instead if ketchup packets.
The banana vanilla milkshake was okay, just okay… not much flavour & I didn’t like that it had ice cubes in it when ice was clearly already blended into it.
Lastly the “don’t be a chicken burger” …now that was horrible! Weirdest burger I’ve ever had & I’ve been vegan almost 10 years so I’ve had a lot of veggie burgers. This was one of the worst. The bun was totally soggy & mushy, the curry coleslaw in it was yummy despite being such a tiny little amount… the cheddar was fine, the Mayo was flavourless, the “fake chicken” burger patty was DISGUSTING… soooo dry, lumpy, chewy, did I mention dry?? … weird colour, even weirder taste… I’ve never had a burger that was just so so bad. And why did I pay €1.45 for pickles as an extra when they gave me two tiny slivers of a mini pickle??
My non-vegan friend got the same “don’t be a chicken burger” a few months ago also & said it was horrible but I didn’t believe him, I thought he was just saying that because he wasn’t used to faux meats… well sh*t, he was right.
My first and last time ordering from here… which is a shame because I love to support vegan business… but the price simply doesn’t match the quality. There are countless other vegan & veggie places in Lisbon with way better veggie burgers… Moko veggie cafe for example has a chicken style burger that’s not only good (unlike this one) but is absolutely delicious!
