a bit far from the center, but very close to metro, and has parking. Very nice lady which operates the hostel! could be a little bit cleaner though

Close to city center (you can go by metro for 4-5 stops or just on foot for 30 minutes), huge parking space inside and very nice personnel - and even though he couldn't speak English, he was using app translating speech so communication was pretty easy :)

I really enjoyed staying there. It is a great place with wonderfull stuff. It's very clean, the room was like in the pictures. There is a kitchen where you can cook, with oven, microwave, plates, glasses, etc. It's really near to metro, coffee place and market. I'd recomend this place to everyone.

Really nice people welcoming in there. The room are good for the price, it is easy to park a car or motorbike. Plenty of cafes around. Relative distance to the turistic area but actually it if pretty central if you also want to visit the harbor area.

Simple guesthouse, conveniently located for visitors by car: big parking in the inner courtyard. 2 min from metro station, 10 min to get to City center and more or less the same to get to the main market by bus. The receptionist couldn't speak English but he have been extremely gentle and warming, and on our last day he offered us to leave the car in their parking for the rest of the day to let us visit the city centre by metro. All the rooms are facing the courtyard so they are very silent despite being close to the main road. Next time I'll visit Porto I'll go there!

Advantages: cheap, has everything around (supermarkets, pastelarias, restaurants, metro station), has its own private parking which is really good when traveling by car, the owner was very nice. We had a double room with private shower, it was in a quite location (not facing the street). Disadvantages: the room wasn't very well cleaned (lots of dust), the bed was hard and very noisy, the pillows were super small. Because if this It was difficult to sleep and the next morning woke up with a backache. It is ok for one night but not more.

The staff at this hostel have invented hospitality. We felt so welcome and had a very relaxed stay. Even though we didn't speak a word of Portuguese and they barely spoke English, they went out of their way to understand and help us.

Excellent value for money. Good connection to the center. Very clean. The thing is: it's actually a collection of separate, fully equipped flats with several rooms, so you end up sharing the kitchen, the bathroom and the common space with (at least in our case) 4 other guests. While it's not a problem in itself - on the contrary, you kinda feel like at home - you can end up with pretty annoying "flatmates" that you have to interact with way more than in a "regular" hostel.
