★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this place. People at the reception were super nice. The apartment was awesome: spacious, neat, and clean. Very well designed. Close to the city center and the main shopping street. No elevator, but the stairs are ok, not steep or narrow. Recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location, nice room. Had a problem with the self check in, it wouldn't print the code number for unlocking the door to my room. I gave them a call at around midnight and they gave me the code within a couple of minutes so it was no problem. Also for self checking out, it didn't work. The machine could not find my booking. If the machine works normally, then it would be a good system.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Costumer service is really unprofessional. If you run into trouble pray to god to someone to aid you. We paid all necessary fees and they would not open the door for us, costumer service doesn't exist. We stood by the door with several other costumers with the same problem ( really unprofessional and bad for this company) We only got inside the room by chance because the janitor(housekeeping) happened to be there, and he had to apologize for the company when it wasn't his job to do so.
Apart from that , the quality of the room and room service was really good, showers etc etc

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Stay Porto Batalha is located close to the old city centre and nearby the trainstation.
The hostel has a well-tought-out design that makes good use of all the space.
The rooms are not big but are perfect for a short stay, very clean and modern.
The buffet style breakfast offers wide choice : different kinds of bread, sandwiches, cheese, ham, jam, cornflakes, fruit, yougurt, croissants and homemade cake.
The staff was extemely friendly and helpful.
The only minpoint is the elevator : very, very small.
