★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a place that we frequented in the 90s and several decades later I returned.
The setting hasn’t changed and is somewhat dated.
The menu variety is abundant and there are many starter choices also. The combo starter includes many of them on one plate . I am not so keen on battered food so will give this a miss next time ..
Otherwise the flavours were good and the portions generous. I tried a mixed grill and partner a fish choice.
Along with Masala in the pedestrian street of Cascais these are my favourites in the area……Still, after the UK’s sheer choice in this type of cuisine and our Tossa de Mar recent experience (close to Barcelona) the places so far in Portugal have been few echelons down in quality …

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meal came too quickly which made us feel it was sitting there and the chicken dish we ordered was very overcooked and dry . We didn't once get asked if we were happy with the meal. Once we had ordered we got ignored and we felt they weren't interested in us any more. Didn't even get asked if we wanted dessert or coffee, so we paid and left.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely a very poor experience. Ordered chilly fish and garlic prawn. Both dishes taste horrible. Fish is spongy and garlic prawn doesn’t have any garlic flavour (it is just a prawn curry)
I do not recommend this to anyone, be careful before you try it

It is a small restaurant, the staff is very attentive and friendly. It is one of the best Indian food restaurants I have been to. You feel like you are in India. We totally recommend it! Thanks for this amazing food. Because of the size of the restaurant, it can be loud and tight to get through the restaurant. Never the less: we had a great time :)
