A Ervanária está bem localizada e possui uma grande variedade de produtos orgânicos, vegans e suplementos alimentares. Realço, contudo, dois pontos nos quais fica a desejar: o preço exagerado de alguns produtos (encontra-se semelhantes nos supermercados a metade do valor) e a conduta de uma das funcionárias (baixa, de cabelo curto) em que já ouvimos mal dizer de outros clientes dentro da loja, e fica a todo o momento "de guarda" em cima dos clientes (como se fossem roubar), mesmo aqueles que fazem compras há muitos anos e gastam uma quantia razoável. Ademais, é sarcástica e prepotente; falta-lhe claramente a humildade que deveria caracterizar um funcionário que exerça este tipo de ofício. Acaba por ser uma situação muito desagradável em que as idas à loja tornaram-se menos recorrentes.

I made an appointment with Catarina the Osteopath to work on a nerve that has been inflamed through repetitive surfing! As its my profession it was critical to address the issue. I have a professional nutritionist who addresses the inflmammation through diet. An MD Dr gave me a prognosis of irritated nerve through C5 vertabrae and suggested rest and Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation. He also suggested an alternative to Ibuprofen (i prefer not to use drugs) said it might be worth visiting an osteo to work on the area and continue working with nutrition. Catarina worked wonders and really freed up my neck and shoulder. I recommend for surf athletes to help with the strains we place on our necks, back and shoulders.

I did not like the way I was spoken to. I found the staff to be very impolite.

I am so grateful to have this store close by. The people who work there keep it clean and stocked and have been nothing but helpful to me, every time I’ve shopped there.

I was sceptical about the quality of advice provided by the sales lady. She insisted the skin cream she has (Blue Cap for €18) will help with the condition I need to treat. She supposedly confirmed it with a doctor online. (Who said “if it doesn’t work, take stronger pills!). The description of the cream is totally different, and I’m just not going to use another expensive cream which doesn’t work with what I need it for. I’m entitled to express my doubts, and do my own research with a doctor of my choice. I doubt the validity ocomments when the cream is full of unnatural ingredients and she claims the opposite. She said this was an organic shop and only sell natural products, which obviously is not the case. The cream contains steroids and is banned in some countries!! She should educate herself. The point is I don’t even mind buying or using the cream if it was really meant to be helpful, but I hate being misinformed that this is a natural product and would help with something which it possibly is not good for. It’s a robbery, not advice. When I decided not to buy the cream she said to take life easy (!)- if I wanted a personal advice I would go to a therapist. Highly unprofessional, she works as a sales person and should know more about the products she sells and even if customers seem irritated by the doubtful advice she should keep it professional instead of personal. She doesn’t know what people might be going through, or not. Totally not her place. Perhaps I should take life more easy but not when it comes to health and bad medical advice when you don’t know what you talk about. If anything, the sales lady should take her job more seriously.

Not recommended at all. I tried to bring back an item that I bought a few minutes earlier and the girl behind the counter just said “they don’t accept it back and it’s written on the receipt” again and again without giving any explanation. The box was closed and the item intact of course. I had a “fatura simplificada” and it doesn’t say there anywhere that you cannot bring back an item you bought by mistake. Unpleasant. I would go to the shop next door next time.
