We hebben heerlijk meegegeten en we mochten met onze camper op zijn terrein verblijven tegen een kleine vergoeding. Het voelde enorm welkom bij hem thuis. De vele verhalen die hij vertelde tijdens het avondeten zijn het op zich al waard! Stop hier ABSOLUUT voor één of twee nachten! The hospitality of Mário was out of proportion, great!! We had a delicious meal and we were allowed to stay on his site with our camper for a small fee. It felt very welcome at his home. The many stories he told during dinner are worth it in itself! ABSOLUTELY stop here for one or two nights!

Pasar unos días en su Quinta debería ser algo que todo el mundo debería realizar, una experiencia increíble que sin lugar a dudas volveremos a realizar. ¡Hasta la próxima! A special place, for the landscape with the vineyards, the river and the mountains and especially for Mario. Spending a few days at your Quinta should be something that everyone should do, an incredible experience that we will undoubtedly do again. Until next time!

Estão presentes na medida certa e fazem os hóspedes sentirem-se em casa e integrados desde o primeiro momento. O jantar, com produtos da quinta, é simples e delicioso. Os quartos limpos e higienizados. Toda a experiência foi excelente e é altamente recomendável. 5 estrelas. This place has a fantastic view over the Douro river. The hosts, Eva and Mário, are the best you can find. They are present in the right measure and make guests feel at home and integrated from the first moment. Dinner, with products from the farm, is simple and delicious. Clean and sanitized rooms. The entire experience was excellent and we highly recommend it. 5 stars.

You can swim in the river, eat great food and drink amazing wine here. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the good things that life can offer, definitely recommended for anyone who likes to be happy!
E	Erika Desmond on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Words cannot describe the experience Mario offered us today. We called him after a brief Google search to see if he offered wine tasting. He offers one red wine so tasting is limited so instead he offered us a boat ride. We arrived at his Quinta and he drive us down to where his speed boat is moored. My lord... it was 24 degrees, he brought a couple of beers and we diced off his boat in the douro river for an hour. We then went back to his Quinta for a prepared lunch of local Portuguese sausage and home grown potatoes. After lunch he showed us step by step how the wine is made on site whilst sipping away at one of his 2008 savoured red wines. Everything from the quality to the hospitality to the friendliness, I cannot describe how much I would recommend you visit Mario's Quinta. We will certainly be back and will stay at his property to share a dinner with him which we can find out even more interesting facts about the region and wine growing. Thank you Mario, you are an asset to the Douro wine region

We were welcomed by the lovely Mario & Eva who showed us around on the property and invited us to join them for an aperitif, followed by a swim in the Douro on our way to a local restaurant by boat. Delicious fresh lunches and dinners were prepared for a small contribution by Mario & Eva. These were supplemented with copious amounts of wine made on the Negreiros property. The social evenings reached a highlight when Mario took his guitar to play some musics to the guests. This is by far a unique experience which we recommend to anyone.
