Todo o processo relacionado com a produção tradicional do azeite encontra-se aqui retratado através do discurso museológico que se inicia na apanha da azeitona nas pulhas trocadas entre ranchos de jornaleiros no seu transporte e na sua limpeza antes da entrada no lagar e no processo de moagem de encerramento caldeamento prensagem e finalmente no processo de decantação que irá levar à obtenção do fino fio de azeite. Todo o discurso museológico é sustentado em painéis gráficos e documentos de vídeo que recolhem a imagens de recolha Etnográfica e documentação fotográfica antiga.
The Azeite museum center located in Aldeia da Lavandeira, shows the visitor how olive oil was produced in a traditional press mill with a central screw. The entire process related to the traditional production of olive oil is portrayed here through the museological discourse that begins with the collection of olives in the bubbles exchanged between newsboy ranches in their transport and cleaning before entering the mill and in the grinding process. closing, pressing and finally in the decanting process that will lead to obtaining the fine olive oil. The entire museological discourse is supported by graphic panels and video documents that collect images from Ethnographic collection and old photographic documentation.
