★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think for the price we expected more generous portions. The food is good but there are better options. The rice was so bad, it felt like it was over cooked two days ago. It's normal to expect more when you drive a great distance through the mountains just to know this place. I am not going to come here again on purpose, maybe only if it is on the route of a future trip. Nevertheless the view is amazing. I suggest to visit the dam further on the road.

The food is very good, but doesn't surprise.
The service is professional and, in my point of view, could be a little more friendly and not so full of rules.
It's a good experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice restaurant with a beautiful view. The food was good and also the staff was very friendly. Only thing it could have 1 more veggie choice (or 1 seasonal veggie) so that if you come back you can try different things. Overall we can highly recommend this restaurant. We had a great time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stood at the reception for ages and was ignored multiple times by the lady who was welcoming patrons.. The only acknowledgment I had from her after several minutes of waiting was an up-down judgmental stare and turned to another customer who had arrived after me.
Despite being marked in the GR50 hiking route it’s CLEARLY not friendly to hikers. Northern Portugal is well known for it’s friendliness and warm hospitality and this restaurant offers quite literally the opposite experience..
In a nutshell: Only suited for Betos (upper middle class city new-rich types who think they’re better than everyone else). If you’re looking for an authentic Portuguese restaurant experience from the north look elsewhere and stay away from this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restaurant with a view to the valleys until your eyes can see. Very friendly owners that love their dogs, all rescue and living all in liberty. So if you see dogs running around the restaurante it's OK. Very friendly. Very professional place, food is always good, very balanced between what you pay and what you get at the table. Does it worth the trip? Yesss, for sure! Even if you just want to have a drink and see the sunset. ?
