The reason why I do not give lower than three stars is because the bifana and prego are very good and the coffee is still just as good. However the place has turned from a cosy enjoyable place for coffee at the beach into a trendy impersonal beachclub that you can find anywhere. The torrada that has always been amazing here changed from its wonderful thick bread and both sides buttered into a thin toast with little butter. It is sad to see as it always had been one of my favourite places to come to when visiting Lisbon.

Now the ownership has changed, the old cook is gone, the food is tasteless, although some old waiters still try to pay attention to old customers the service, generally speaking is awful and , were it not enough, they decided to put heavy metal music in gigantic sound columns, just to spoil your digestion! I cannot recommend it to anyone who desires to enjoy the beach!

My Salada da Mar consisted of some greenery sprinkled with seeds and some other minor pieces of salad with chopped crab sticks conservatively poured on top. It was a small plate and did not reflect the €8.50 price tag. My wife's omelette was an equal disappointment.
V	Veronica Palomba on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice bar on the beach, you can sit outside with the feet on the beach..........the only problem is that cocktail are VERY expensive! 10€ for a caipirinha, for me it's too much! The bar is not that fancy, is just a normal Portuguese bar with Marginal road on the back . For those prices need to be a beautiful and we'll renovated bar.
L	LC on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was here with 2. You’ll get some bread with butter and olives you think ok no problem I am gonna pay extra for this no big deal. Then you check the menu and it says bread €0,80 olives €0,50. So you think ok that’s nothing. Eventually you’re gonna pay that twice because you were with 2 persons?. Also you pay €1 for a tiny cup of butter like this: I had the spaghetti bolognese and it was gross:( The meat tasted like it came out of a can. We clearly didn’t finish our plates and no questions were asked.
