Adoro ainda mais! Tall wooden shelves loaded with books, some newer and more used. Love! And then the beautiful and friendly faces that receive us. I love it even more!

Variety, eclectic selection, from the most secluded to the most mundane, there is always an option to choose. And if not, the friendly faces promise to do everything to try to find what we are looking for! In the middle of the tourist buzz, a breath of "fresh air" in the preservation of the library, with that smell that fills our soul!

J	John Doe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware of bloggers, they patently lie. I wouldn't hear upon the recommendation of one such individual. The only salesperson, presumably the owner, was rude and the only English he was able to muster was a list of things I could not do it in the store. He escorted me to the only shelf of English titles and, in so many words, seemed to suggest that I should then leave immediately. Now, he could have mistaken me for being British rather than American, but the fact of the matter is that this behavior is unacceptable regardless. I thought the selection in Portuguese was uninspired and I'm not sure why there are so many good reviews and why bloggers are recommending this particular bookstore unless it's for some other purpose. I've now been to used book stores all over the country and I think I'm a pretty good judge of what's a good used bookstore. even if you're fluent in Portuguese, it's not worth the trip unless you're in the immediate vicinity.
