★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O Bigode do Rato is a friendly and intimate B&B. It is located in Rato very close to the Metro stop and to some bus stops, very easy to get to the center of Lisbon (you can also walk if you want, the center is not too far).
It is a former apartment with four separate bedrooms and a common area where breakfast is served in the morning. There is also a kitchen if you want to cook or similar. There are two shared bathrooms with shower. Everything is really clean and well kept, the girl running the place is very friendly and helpful.
The place is on a busy street, but if you keep the windows closed you bearly hear the noise from the road. No air-conditioning but not a big issue because there is always a nice and cold breeze.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a reasonably comfortable stay here. The bed was comfy and the overall atmosphere was nice - communal areas encouraged mingling. However, breakfast was quite basic and a few things in the apartment needed repairing, meaning it's not amazing value for money.
