★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the usual place but altogether very good in view of the price. Breakfast was very nice with croissants and chocolate rolls at €2.50 pp.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First, the positives: Right on the Caminho and dinner at the restaurant was great.
The hotel side, however, sucked. No pillow. Bath towels were like burlap sacks. As soon as you walk into the hotel, you are hit with this overpowering smell. It appears that they were trying to mask some smell with some really strong air freshener and the smells have now combined. To a lesser degree in the room. Dog barking next door thru the night. Took my passport for registration and disappeared. Had to ask another guy about my passport and finally found it laying on the counter.
Finally, I had said that I would be leaving early and would not be needing breakfast. However, I changed my mind in the morning and asked if I could at least get coffee and juice. The guy said no, turned around and walked into the kitchen. The 2 stars are strictly for dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The decorations are trendy and minimalist, with an upscale look. The staff is very attentive and very sociable. The food is very good and the prices although not the cheapest, are well worth the amount and quality. We hate carne de alguidar, pork meat chopped in cubes with fries, 2 servings for 4 people. The deserts are very very good. I would guess the Doce de Amêndoa is made in House and a local speciality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room is Very clean, female staff welcomed me while she is cleaning kitchen in Saturday afternoon , I really appreciated. Sunday doesn't open, almost couldn't find lunch and all day food in town, after walking 30 mins later fortunately found Loja dos frangos next to Pinheiros house, meal is good and the boss is unexpected warm and welcoming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seems like family run, old school restaurant. Decent space, needs freshening up. Service quite slow, never seen it busy. I pop in to share the love occasionally. Food often quite oily, decent portions. It could do a lot better with a little focus on service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food were good, set menu costing around 15 eur per person including soup, salad, main, dessert, wine, bread and side. They don’t understand much English. You can either choose fish or meat for main. I totally recommend lime mousse as dessert.
