A comida é farta e bem confeccionada, os nacos de vitela são uma delícia, muito soculentos.
O bacalhau à lagareiro não convenceu, era bacalhau cozido e tostado na chapa, por isso de não dar uma melhor pontuação.
A mousse é muito boa.

Os preços são um pouco elevados.
A cozy restaurant with excellent decor.
The food is plentiful and well-prepared, the veal chunks are delicious, very succulent.
The cod à lagareiro was not convincing, it was cod cooked and toasted on the plate, so it didn't give a better score.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My girlfriend and I went to "O Camponês" for lunch. We order the mix of starters: it was really good and extremely delicious. As a main dish we ordered the calf medallions. They were very tasty but a bit undercooked. Definitely a place to return to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic delicious Portuguese cuisine. Top notch. Beautifully decorated with a quiet ambiance. Very friendly and helpful service. Great food, great wine list although the cheaper local wine is fantastic and great value. Finally.... the most wonderful home made deserts. Absolutely mouth watering!
