★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small restaurant that offers traditional local food. We had some trouble to figure out what to eat since we don't speak Portuguese but with best efforts from both sides we did decide on fish (bacalhau) which was very tasty. This place is quite rustic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been in and around Portugal for a few weeks made me a bit home sick. Food back at home was plain, simple, without the fancy plates and nevertheless was tasty. Walking into this restaurant I was skeptical, the lack of an English menu and door signs made me a bit uneasy. I had no idea what I ordered initially but it was love at first taste. I got the cod with a side of rice, salad and vegetables totally a whopping 9 euros. WTH?! Left them a 15 and walked home with a smile.
Get out of the downtown core and check out this gem. You won't regret it.

This is traditional portuguese restaurant to its bones. The food is very good and the owner not only is very friendly but is the tglhat will serve you.

The only down side is the fact the place is small.
This is a place to try if you are in Lisbon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing authentic Portuguese food. We had codfish, octopus, sausage, desserts and drinks for €20. No English menu but all the meats/fish are displayed in a fridge so you can just point at them. Or maybe you’ll get lucky like us and there will be an English speaker eating there.
